The Experience
MILO T20 Blast School Cup is a fun, fast-paced, modified, cricket program that encapsulates the excitement associated with the KFC T20 Big Bash league.
It’s a fun and safe one-day carnival for primary school aged children in Years 3-6. MILO T20 Blast School Cups give children the opportunity to play games of T20 in an exciting round-robin format.
Many games are played simultaneously on the outfield of local ovals, creating an exciting and vibrant atmosphere bolstered by attendance from schools in the area. High energy music accompanies the action at most MILO T20 Blast School Cups, enhancing the vibrant atmosphere.
MILO T20 Blast creates a unique sporting atmosphere, with short boundaries inspiring countless fours and sixes designed to have the children screaming for more. It is their time to shine!
Small-sided games
With either six or eight players per team, participants have greater involvement in the game.
Short time frame
The 40 minute game format allows four games per MILO T20 Blast School Cup.
Easy on equipment
Schools are not required to bring any equipment, everything is provided by your local Cricket State Association.
Professionally delivered
The action-packed program is promoted and implemented by highly-skilled and trained providers, ensuring the sessions run smoothly. Your State or Territory Cricket Association will be responsible for the organisation, administration, set-up, game fixtures, times, recording of statistics and the clean-up of the event, ensuring teachers are free to engage with their students in games.
Each MILO T20 Blast School Cup will require a volunteer umpire for each game, who will be provided with everything they need to officiate. The volunteers become part of the action and are in the best position to enjoy this unique junior sporting spectacle.
