Game Format

The format of a MILO T20 Blast School Cup is dependant on the year level of the participants.

Years 3 and 4: Six-a-Side FORMAT

  • PLAYERS: Six per side
  • GAME LENGTH: six overs per team/12 overs per game regardless of how many wickets are lost
  • GAME TIME: Approximately 40 minutes
  • PITCH LENGTH: 16 metres
  • PITCH TYPE: Grass outfield
  • GROUND SIZE: 35 metre maximum from batting-end stumps. If there is limited space, the grounds should be reduced to allow more matches to be played in the space
  • BALL: Incrediball style
  • PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: Not required. Wicket keepers to wear helmet with grill when up to the stumps
  • BATTING: Pairs
  • BOWLING: Players bowl one over each, bowled from the same end
  • FIELDING: No Fielder is allowed within 10 metres of the bat until after the ball is hit. This excludes the wicket keeper and slips

  • PITCH TYPE: Grass outfield

  • BALL: Incrediball style
  • PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:Not required. Wicketkeepers to wear helmet with grill when up to the stumps
  • BATTING: Pairs
